There’s been a lot of talk in the press lately regarding the phenomena of “strategic foreclosures.”  If you’re not familiar with the term, it has to do with making a logical and rational economic decision to walk away from a property that is worth less than the amount owed on it, rather than continue to throw good money after bad.

This is EXACTLY what the national “Mortgage Banker’s Association” decided to do with its $80 million headquarters . . .

The Florida cold-spell has finally snapped and today has been our first day of warm weather in about two weeks!  This week I talk about some reasons why you might want to have your real estate license (and some reasons you might not) even when acting strictly as a short sale investor.

I also talk about a disturbing contract addendum clause that I received from a Wells Fargo Home Mortgage negotiator and the implications for this particular deal I’m working.
